In this tough economy, you may be looking for a way to make extra money. If you do not want to drive a great distance to make money, try logging on to your computer and searching for opportunities to make calls and make money.  

There are numerous opportunities to act as an independent call center. Make calls to people who are interested in certain topics. You may be asked to deliver a survey and ask questions or to talk to someone about an upcoming event and get them to register.

You might be asked to contact conference attendees and confirm reservations. You can even make calls to manage travel reservations and upcoming events for a conference.  

While the hourly rate for many of these positions is not high, it is usually at least as high as minimum wage and often quite a bit more than minimum wage. You can make calls and make supplemental income, all without leaving the comfort of your home. If you are outgoing and friendly, these job opportunities will also offer you a way to use your natural skills without a lot of training. If you have the time and the initiative, it is easy to make money. All you have to do is to make a call.
